Saône-et-Loire: A drill on a “severe weather phenomenon” on June 3

On Tuesday, June 3, late in the afternoon, the Saône-et-Loire prefecture, security and emergency services, civil security associations, and several municipalities are organizing a crisis management exercise that will simulate an alert for a "violent meteorological phenomenon."

People in the department and in the neighboring areas of neighboring departments will receive a message via the FR-Alert system on their mobile phones equipped with 4G and 5G technologies and connected to mobile networks (excluding Wi-Fi). This is a test of this system. No application installation is required. No action is expected from residents in response to this message, which will specify that this is only a drill.
